Description
Overview
The 40/42-161A-101-HI is a PXI/PXIe 12xSPDT power relay module with optional hardware interlock. It is part of a range of high density power switching solutions with a choice of SPST, and SPDT relay configurations with or without hardware interlock. Electro-mechanical power relays are used wich are suitable for switching loads up to 16 A at 250 VAC. Connection to the hardware interlock is via a 4-pin 00 series socket (mating plug is supplied).
Power relay modules are intended for switching heavy AC or DC loads or for controlling large external relays, contactors and solenoids. The 40/42-161A is ideal for switching up to 16 A in both AC and DC applications.
Power Relay Type
The 40/42-161A range is fitted with electromechanical power relays with silver alloy contacts. A spare relay is included with each module to allow easy maintenance with minimum downtime.
