The APx HDMI2 + eARC Module is a new module which enables manufacturers of televisions, sound bars, home theater receivers, and set-top boxes to test the audio components of the latest HDMI standard, 2.1.
HDMI2 + eARC is the successor to the current HDMI + ARC module and allows customers to test audio and video integration with Ultra-HD video, 4K and 8K video modes. Enables audio test of the enhanced Audio Return Channel, eARC. The new HDMI2 + eARC module is the only audio measurement solution on the market supporting the HDMI2 2.1 specification. Previously customers have had to rely on ad-hoc solutions combining evaluation modules, or test discs with consumer retail products to validate HDMI2. A cumbersome, inefficient, and error prone approach. HDMI2 + eARC combines the ease of use of APx500 software with the renowned quality of Audio Precision hardware to provide a seamlessly integrated solution for audio test of products utilizing HDMI.
