Phantom v1212
The Phantom® v1212 provides a widescreen CMOS sensor and delivers a speed of over 12,000 frames-per-second at full resolution.

The Phantom v1212 camera is a no-nonsense workhorse member of Phantom® UHS-12 Series family of 1 megapixel digital ultra high-speed cameras and is designed with versatility and flexibility in mind. The v1212 is the ideal solution for applications that require capturing high-resolution images at ultra-high speeds, serving as an excellent tool for scientists, researchers, and engineers.
With our proprietary widescreen CMOS sensor, the v1212 can acquire and save up to 12 Gigapixels-per-second of data. That means at its full megapixel resolution of 1280 x 800, you can achieve over 12,000 frames-per-second (fps). At reduced resolutions, the v1211 offers frame rates of up to 551,700 fps. Further underscoring its versatility, the camera can be ordered with our unique FAST option (export controlled), which enables frame rates up to 820,000 fps.
The custom-designed sensor has 28 micron pixels and an innovative design to ensure superb light-sensitivity -- essential in ultra-high-speed imaging. Standard 12-bit depth per pixel yields high dynamic range and provides excellent image quality. The camera comes in color or monochrome versions.
The v1212 is equipped with either 72GB, 144GB or 288GB of high-speed memory that can be divided into up to 63 segments, giving users maximum flexibility. And, minimize cine save times with our Phantom CineMag IV, an option that saves any shot from high-speed RAM to a 1TB or 2TB CineMag in seconds.
The v1212 has the same Ease-of-Use features as all the other members of the Phantom High-Speed Camera line. Common signal connections are conveniently located on its back panel, and include connections for timecode, dual power inputs, HD-SDI, a GPS input, frame synchronization, and trigger. The two HD-SDI ports can act as identical 4:2:2 HD-SDI ports with one port set up to provide an (optional) on-screen display for monitoring the on-camera controls and camera operation. Or, they can be configured as a single 4:4:4 Dual-Link HD-SDI port.
An internal mechanical shutter allows for hands-free automatic and/or remote black references.
The camera comes with a Nikon F-mount that also supports G-mount lenses. Or, you can choose to equip your camera with a C-mount or Canon EF mount (for remote lens control).
