The New Consultronics CableSHARK P3 is used for the qualification of twisted pair cable in the local loop. The CableSHARK RM is a next-generation CO based DSL cable qualification instrument for measuring and evaluating the local loop for DSL deployment. The CableSHARKâ„¢RM is a rack mountable unit for use by ILECs and CLECs for standalone and line sharing test situations. The CableSHARKâ„¢RM can easily qualify the local loop to carry such DSL applications as ISDN, HDSL, HDSL2, G.Lite, SHDSL, and ADSL. The instrument can be convienently controlled remotely via an Ethernet or RS232C (V.24) interface.
